35 companies on the AI hiring software map.

An applicant tracking system is the system of record for hiring. It holds the jobs, the applicants, each stage and the offer. Almost all now add AI that screens and ranks applicants against the job. Many also take interview notes or write job ads.

Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and Workable are in this group, and so are agency tools such as Bullhorn. Workable Agent is built into its ATS and runs sourcing, screening and messaging. Workable also has an MCP server that lets Claude and ChatGPT operate it.

## Applicant tracking systems

- [iCIMS](https://www.newsprint.com/research/hiring-software/companies/icims.md): "Power exceptional hiring." iCIMS sells an enterprise talent acquisition platform: ATS, candidate CRM (iCIMS CXM), career sites and frontline hiring, used by more than 4,400 companies including a quarter of the Fortune 500. Its AI, branded iCIMS Coalesce AI since March 2026, covers candidate search and match, digital assistants, agents (Sourcing Agent, Hiring Agent in Microsoft Teams, Interview Scheduling Agent) and Frontline AI, a chat-led apply and screening flow from the Apli acquisition. On the map: https://www.newsprint.com/research/hiring-software/#co-icims
- [Access Vincere Evo](https://www.theaccessgroup.com/en-gb/products/vincere/): Vincere is a recruitment CRM and ATS for recruitment agencies, now sold by The Access Group as Access Vincere Evo. Access calls it "a powerful AI-first recruitment software trusted by 22,000+ recruiters worldwide". It covers candidate and client CRM, job posting, temp scheduling and timesheets (TimeTemp) and analytics (Intelligence). AI writes job ads, scores candidates against a job, rewrites emails and briefs, summarises interviews and answers natural-language questions. It is for agencies, not in-house HR teams. On the map: https://www.newsprint.com/research/hiring-software/#co-access-vincere-evo
- [Ashby](https://www.newsprint.com/research/hiring-software/companies/ashby.md): "What an ATS should be." Ashby sells an all-in-one recruiting platform (ATS, CRM, scheduling, analytics) to startups through enterprises, with "AI embedded in every layer." AI reviews applications against recruiter-set criteria, flags fraudulent applicants, records and summarizes interviews, rediscovers past candidates, and runs custom agents through Ashby Assistant. An AI Interviewer from the Talent Llama acquisition is in private beta. Ashby also sells Ashby Analytics on top of other ATSs. On the map: https://www.newsprint.com/research/hiring-software/#co-ashby
- [Avature](https://www.avature.net/): "The AI Platform for Strategic HR Transformation." Avature sells a configurable talent platform to large enterprises: recruiting CRM, applicant tracking, career sites, onboarding, internal mobility, performance and learning. It says 110 Fortune 500 companies use it. Its AI is platform-native and multi-model: semantic matching, a candidate chatbot, Avature Copilot, workflow-embedded agents with an agent builder, predictive analytics and candidate fraud detection. Customers can switch AI on or off feature by feature. On the map: https://www.newsprint.com/research/hiring-software/#co-avature
- [Breezy HR](https://www.newsprint.com/research/hiring-software/companies/breezy-hr.md): An ATS for growing and mid-sized businesses, with a free single-job tier. Its AI add-on, Breezy Intelligence, is pitched as "Big-Company AI Recruiting Minus the Big-Company Contract": Applicant Insights gives every candidate a 0 to 10 score with a written explanation, Resume Audit flags resumes built by bots or generators, Interview Analysis scores recorded interviews (beta, separate subscription) and a Breezy MCP Server (beta) connects Claude and ChatGPT. AI runs on prepaid credits. On the map: https://www.newsprint.com/research/hiring-software/#co-breezy-hr
- [Bullhorn](https://www.newsprint.com/research/hiring-software/companies/bullhorn.md): "The AI recruitment ATS & CRM powering 10,000+ staffing agencies." Bullhorn sells applicant tracking, CRM, middle office and onboarding software to staffing and recruitment firms, not to corporate HR teams. Its Amplify product adds AI "digital workers" whose skills enrich records, match and screen candidates by chat or voice, run outreach, build client submittals, prospect for new business, verify, audit and transcribe. Amplify Chat is a staffing-specific assistant inside the ATS that answers questions and takes actions. On the map: https://www.newsprint.com/research/hiring-software/#co-bullhorn
- [Ceipal](https://www.newsprint.com/research/hiring-software/companies/ceipal.md): "Ask Anything. Hire Faster. Stop Switching Systems." AI sources, parses, matches and ranks candidates, runs voice AI interviews and SMS pre-screening, writes outreach, checks compliance and reads timesheets. Ceipal says it has over 2,500 clients. Its main buyers are IT, general and healthcare staffing agencies, not in-house enterprise HR. On the map: https://www.newsprint.com/research/hiring-software/#co-ceipal
- [Cezanne Recruitment](https://www.newsprint.com/research/hiring-software/companies/cezanne-recruitment.md): Cezanne Recruitment is the ATS formerly sold as Occupop, a Dublin recruitment software company that UK HR and payroll vendor Cezanne bought in March 2025 and renamed in July 2025; occupop.com now redirects to it. Cezanne calls it a "fully featured applicant tracking system" for growing businesses, sold alone or with Cezanne's HRIS. AI scores CVs against the job description, explains each score and anonymises CVs for blind review by hiring managers. On the map: https://www.newsprint.com/research/hiring-software/#co-cezanne-recruitment
- [ClearCo (formerly ClearCompany)](https://www.clearcompany.com/): "Clarity. It's how you build stronger teams." It serves about 3,000 organizations. Its AI includes AI Talent Match, an AI Sourcing Engine, AI Notetaker, a Virtual Recruiter chatbot and AI content generation, plus a 2026 Agent Platform with Req, Sourcing (AI prescreening calls) and Interview agents and an Agent Studio for custom agents. Crelate sells one recruiting platform that combines sourcing, a recruiting CRM and applicant tracking to executive search firms, staffing and consulting firms and in-house teams. Its AI comes as two named agents, Discover (outside talent sourcing by chat) and Insights (data refresh and suggested next moves), plus a Co-Pilot and an MCP server that lets Claude, ChatGPT and custom agents work with Crelate data. It does not run AI interviews. On the map: https://www.newsprint.com/research/hiring-software/#co-crelate
- [Greenhouse](https://www.newsprint.com/research/hiring-software/companies/greenhouse.md): "Hiring. Orchestrated." Greenhouse sells an applicant tracking system plus sourcing, interviewing and scheduling, tied to MyGreenhouse, a profile network for job seekers. Mid-market and enterprise talent teams buy it. Its AI sorts and verifies applicants (Real Talent), runs first-round voice interviews (Voice AI, from the Ezra AI Labs deal), takes interview notes, builds analytics charts, and exposes Greenhouse to Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini through an MCP server. Greenhouse frames its AI as support for structured hiring, not a shortcut. On the map: https://www.newsprint.com/research/hiring-software/#co-greenhouse
- [Hireology](https://hireology.com/): "The hiring platform built for how you actually hire." Hireology sells an ATS to multi-location employers with frontline teams, mainly car dealerships, long-term care and hospitality. Its AI layer, Winston, chats with candidates, scores and screens applicants, runs on-demand first-round interviews and answers recruiter questions.
