Press release distribution and newsrooms

40 companies on the PR software map. Updated .

These tools put a press release in front of reporters and readers. A wire sends the release to news sites, terminals and media lists. A newsroom platform hosts a company's releases, images and press kits. Some services syndicate a brand's stories to publishers or sell one release at a time.

Wires on the list include Business Wire and EIN Presswire. Prezly and PR.co sell newsroom software. Several wires now sell for AI search too. Business Wire adds structured data to every release, and ACCESS Newswire scores each release for how likely AI assistants are to cite it.
