Some 90 companies now sell some sort of AI product to PR teams. This research shows what shipped when (and more).
We read every company’s own site between 23 September and 6 October 2026 and counted 565 dated AI feature launches, 195 of them a company’s first of that kind.

429 dated events across 84 of the companies: every product launch, feature release, funding round, acquisition and shutdown we could put a source against. Each dot is one event, coloured by what it does in the pipeline. Hover or tap a dot for the detail; click it, or tap it again, to open the page it came from. Filter to one colour and the shape of that capability's history shows up on its own.
Every AI feature launch we could date and source, each with the vendor’s own words for it, and every other dated event from the timeline above: foundings, funding, acquisitions and platform launches. Newest first, each with the page it came from. An event that is the same launch as a feature row is listed once. Take the feature launches or the events as JSON.
Launch counts measure how public a company is, not how fast it ships. The 24 companies with an itemised changelog average 15.5 AI feature launches each in the table below; the 30 that publish nothing dated average 1.0. Filter by where a company publishes to see the difference.

Numbered sources are the ones behind the company descriptions and the findings. Every row in the event log carries its own source link inline.
